2. User Responsibility for Files

You retain full ownership of and responsibility for all images and files that you process using NexoPixel. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to modify and use your files, and for maintaining backup copies of your original images before replacing or deleting them on your device.

3. Technical Limitations & Output Expectations

Image encoding, compression ratios, and browser canvas capabilities depend on your device's hardware, operating system, web browser, and the visual complexity of your source image:

• Target File Size Mode: While NexoPixel iteratively optimizes quality and dimensions to reach a requested kilobyte or megabyte target, we do not guarantee that a specific byte target can always be achieved for every source file or lossless format.
• Social Media Presets: Preset dimensions reflect commonly recommended platform sizes, which third-party social networks may change at any time. Always verify final portal or platform requirements before submitting critical files.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the NexoPixel website, interfere with its availability, attempt automated denial-of-service requests against our hosting infrastructure, or copy and redistribute our proprietary site code and branding as a competing service without permission.

5. Intellectual Property

NexoPixel claims no ownership over the images you process or download. All rights, title, and interest in the NexoPixel website design, software code, documentation, and branding remain the property of NexoPixel.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is")

NexoPixel is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser configuration, nor that processed images will be accepted by any specific third-party application portal.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NexoPixel and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, rejected application submissions, or business interruption arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service.
